Voor PivotX 2 staan de volgende wijzigingen te boek:
Released on March 3rd, 2008. Contains the SVN revisions from r955 to r1059.
- Tagging / Tagpages / Tagclouds now work properly!
- Metaweblog (XML-RPC) API support has been added!
- Added 'Paging' extension, to easily browse through all pages of the weblog.
- Moved more settings to templates, to make templating/theming more consistent
- Using PHP Speedy to speed up page loading and reduce the number of requests
- Performance enhancements in MySQL, to reduce the number of queries done
- Added optional caching, to speed up the rendering of pages dramatically.
- Changed the News section on the Dashboard to deferred loading (because some people reported problems with it)
- The file browser shows more info about the files you're browsing.
- We have fancy new PivotX, RSS and Atom buttons. Thanks, Peter!
- Added Spanish translation. Thanks, Javier!
- Added extra hashing with a salt to the passwords. Mmm, savoury!
- Added [[feed]]-tag, as a replacement of the old [[rss]]-tag.
- Added 'Post and continue editing' buttons for Pages and Entries. And for editing templates as well.
- Working on making Weblogs more versatile: offset, category parameters work. You can now use [[weblog]] in other Pages as well.
- [[archive_list]] and [[category_list]] work now. Both works well in tandem with [[paging]]
- Improved the sanity checks when starting up. Making it harder to get stuck without having a clue what's going on.
- .. And a bunch of smaller improvements and fixes..
